David Reitman is a senior Technology, Media & Telecom executive and strategic advisor with a games industry focus spanning strategy, digital engineering, AI implementation, enterprise services, and managed services. He is one of a handful of executives who has built dedicated gaming practices at two of the world’s largest consultancies, leading PwC’s gaming practice across Deals, Advisory, Engineering (Cloud, Data, AI), and Cyber Risk & Regulatory, and previously organizing and scaling Accenture’s gaming practice to over $100M in revenue, building the dedicated team that led client relationships across game developers, publishers, platform providers, and game technology companies.
His career spans the full gaming value chain, from backend infrastructure for EverQuest, World of Warcraft, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live, to pioneering cloud gaming at Gaikai (acquired by Sony for $380M), to scaling Digital River's white-label digital commerce service solution, including EA Origin to over $1B in revenue within six months, giving publishers an alternative to Steam’s distribution model.
David has been instrumental in successful capital raises and exits. As a senior business leader at Gaikai and Visionary Realms, he was pivotal in fundraising efforts including raises with Intel Capital, Comcast Capital, Qualcomm Ventures, Benchmark, and EA. He also contributed to successful exits including PlayGiga’s acquisition by Facebook as a Board Advisor, and Switch and Data’s $689M acquisition by Equinix.
He provides Non-Executive Director and Board Advisory services across corporate strategy, product innovation, business development, and investment, with current and prior board engagements including Visionary Realms (NED), PlayGiga, Green Man Gaming, and Tangentix/GameSessions. He also serves as an M&A subject matter expert and institutional investment advisor with Gerson Lehrman Group, Third Bridge, and Guidepoint Global.

Shaped foundational backend technology and business operations for the platforms that became World of Warcraft, PlayStation Network, and Xbox Live during early roles at AT&T and Equinix.

At Digital River, led the Commerce-as-a-Service business for gaming publishers, scaling EA Origin to over $1B in revenue within six months, as well as Ubisoft (Uplay), Square Enix, and Xbox’s PC Game Store. Later, as Global VP Digital Commerce at SAP Hybris, designed the commerce and digital supply chain vision for Sony’s PlayStation Store transformation, secured the Hybris license, and led the selection of the services firm to deliver it.
